We have filtered water, so that guests do not need to buy plastic bottled water.

We provide fabric tote bag in every room which guests can use for their daily purchases to avoid plastic bags.

We have smart Air-conditioning controls which is preconfigured for the optimum energy consuption (max. 26°C when cooling, max. 22°C when heating)

And the foundation of our eco-approach is, that we choose a historic building which we renovated completely to preserve the existings substance and the natural stone and brick walls. We used natural materials.

Due to our location (car-free pedestrian zone) in the old town we had some restrictions as our building is under historical preservation and eco energy provider are limited in our town. So green energy, green roofs, organic waste, zero-energy building is not possible in our case, as well as own bicycles due to lack of space (tiny houses). But everything we were able to do, we did. And all the recommendations we give a proven to be true local experiences e.g. our guests get infos where on the market they can buy true local products.
